​NEXT WAVE PLAYWRIGHTS PROJECT

Pacific Play Company is generating new work directly from local playwrights for the 2023 season.  We are reactivating the Next Wave Playwrights Project a format that is designed to help inspire writers and complete projects. The writers meet twice a month and share new work, receive and give feedback and generally help to support and encourage each other. Next Wave will sponsor writing workshops, host guest artists and present readings and events of new plays. The group just finished presenting a collaboration with 18th & Union Theatre our SUMMER MAGIC: TALES OF REVENGE following a sold-out run of  CANDLELIGHT STORIES and LOVE SUCKS two short shows that premiered at the Pan Pacific Hotel in January and February 2023!  We plan on a late Autumn show at the Pan Pacific Hotel.  Look here to be updated on meetings, readings and events.
