What happens when Lulu, born in 1846 at the height of Victorian England, finds herself catapulted through time into modern day Seattle?
How will Lulu survive in our messy world? Can she help make things a bit a more tidy? Will she ever be able to go back home to her own time? And most important of all, where can she get a decent cup of tea?

AN EVENING AT MIDSUMMER MEADOWS
A New Comedy by Morgan Ludlow

The play is a dystopian twist on A Midsummer Night's Dream. When 80-year old Grace elopes into the woods with her tango partner, Diego, all hell breaks loose at Midsummer Meadows Retirement Home. Grace is desperately trying to find her son, Jon, and remember what happened to him. An outrageous romp in the forest unfolds as Grace learns that the rules of the forest (full of drag queens competing for the “Queen de Luxe” competition and a fierce transgendered motorcycle gang) are very different from the rules of her retirement home and soon Grace remembers what she so desperately tried to forget.
"I know a bank where the wild thyme blows, Where oxlips and nodding violet grows, Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine, With sweet musk-roses and with elegantine; There sleeps Titania sometimes of the night, Lull'd in these flowers and dances and delight"
--William Shakespeare | A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM, Act 2, Scene 1
